New offline events and Trophy Supprt for GT5P Spec III?

Did a quick search for this and found nothing, so here goes!

What do people think about the chances of new offline events for GT5P Spec III update?

I don't have a great internet connection speed and online racing never has appealed to me. My only challenge is the offline events, and they have long been completed.

And if PD were to put new events in, they could use possible new cars / tracks, and even offer trophy support because everyone would be able to start them with the support built in.

I like the idea of trophy support, but a SPEC III update has yet to be confimed or even announced.
The bad online has nothing to do with your connection speed, it's just totally messed up on PD's side. The amount of lag, ghosting and false penalties is unbelievable, almost unbearable.
But yeah trophies for offline would be ... interesting :)
 
By Spec III update I meant the big autumn update.

I did have a quick go on online yesterday, and let me say I won't be going anywhere near it again till there are private rooms.
 
I know, I just say it's nothing confimed yet and I only believe in a big or small update if its confimed officially.
BTW private rooms probably won't help reducing the lag much.
 
My guess would be there will be one more major update with my guess being damage or new track or a car or 2 (or maybe a combination). Probably be around christmas to try boost sales for the holiday season.
 
I would agree with trophy support...but you would end up accumulating an exceedingly large amount of trophy's if you won them for every race, as it is in-game now. So maybe PD could program GT to only have Trophy support for such things as; Championship Series, Endurance Races, License tests & other partically specially or unique events. That way the collection of trophy's could be recognisable as an example of special achievement, that would make your trophy collection far more significant.;)
 
Following on from Rusty*, maybe just a trophy for completing C Class, B Class etc...

Or trophies for online time trials or races etc...

I hope PD do include trophies for the autumn update, and as PD are an inhouse developer to Sony I expect Sony will be pushing for trophies and in game music ASAP

Continuation of trophy thoughts, Super_Spig makes a good point, Trophy's could also be attained from finishing a 'Class', as in GT5P now. Thanks for the addition Super_Spig. :)
 
Possible trophies gt5p could have: all gold in S class, all gold in any class, xxx race wins online, xxxxkm travelled in game, xxx points scored in a drift session etc. you get my drift.
 
They will probably set it up so you will get a trophie on the events, gold if you get all gold, silver if you have any silver or all silver (ie all gold bar one silver) and bronze if you have aby bronze.

I recon they will probably hold "special" online races which will award trophies, maybe enduro races for example.
