New Player wants to enter the game

Hi there,

i am new to GTsport and Online Racing in general.
As i do not have any friends / community for racing, i am looking for other racers.

Is there anything that new players need to know / do?
Maybe an introduction thread (that i didn't find)?

i did read the general rules of online racing (GT6 - Forum, as i guess they apply), and am really interessed in racing on a fair level.
