New posts page question, Jordan..

I saw that the new posts page won't update every minute or whatever it was set to before. I can live with that but sure I'll miss it. (my favourite)

Anyway I noticed a problem with the new posts page.

Sometimes it's 2 pages with threads and sometimes it's 8 pages.. It seems like there has been a time limit before with the new posts, like 18 hrs or so. And now it's like gtp cuts off all old posts at a certain hour (several times a day) and suddenly i stand there with a mesely 1.5 pages of new posts on that page..

What's up with this?

Yes, but my question was not about that the automatic reload of the page is gone. Thanks anyway.

You are correct that it has to do with user activity. Our old "new posts" link showed you all threads that have been created or replied to in the past 24 hours. The new "new posts" link shows you all threads that have been created or replied to since your last visit (or since your last session expired). I will probably be changing this back to the old way with GTP6.1, as it's bothering me a bit as well.
