"new posts" tab or click every forum?

Someone posted something today that had me wondering how many people use the "new posts" tab? Someone said that they dont view certain sections of the forum. If you just click "new posts" you see what every new post is.
What do you do?
1. Click thru every thread heading or
2. Just click "new posts" (this is the easiest in my opinion)

Just used New Posts right now I saw this on the top. I use this throughout the day.
 
I definately click on the New Posts link 99% of the time, in fact, I even have it bookmarked and use it to enter GTP.
 
I don't use it very often.
I'm just haging around , if I find anything new , I just click through the forums.

I have a feeling it will be your new friend. 👍 Soooo much easier and faster.
 
New posts almost all of the time.

Very handy function. It was even better before when the page updated every 30 seconds.
 
Ditto Giancarlo. Plus I only visit about once or twice a week now and there'd be to many unwanted ones to go through.

Hehe, same here... I spend at least an hour a day here and I never even noticed that this button existed! :dunce:
 
I look through what I'm interested in manually, then I just look at my subscribed threads -- new posts is usually full of stuff I'm not interested in.
 
I wish you could filter out forums in the New Posts. Then you could only display new posts for forums you're interested in. By filtering out the GT4 section I wouldn't have to see whiney posts about delays and online mode being removed! :dopey:

An idea for GTP7 maybe?

Oh, and to answer you're question I just use New Posts.
 
That would be great, because nearly all of it is GT4 and most of GT4 is just whining. I agree, put in GTP7, ey Jordan? *nudge nudge*
 
Depending on how active I've been I either just click on new posts, or I go thru my profile and run thru the threads that I've posted in to see what new replies are there.
Keeps me from running thru 6-8 pages of "new posts".
 
Yeah it does get pretty hard to find what you're looking for if you haven't been on for a few days.
