"New Posts"

Obviously, with the upcoming entry of GTP 5, this is an ackward time to ask, but here goes:

I frequently use the "New Posts" link, which is quite handy (of course!)... however, I'd like it if it also had page numbers next to the threads... I usually don't use the upside-down arrow when opening threads, because I find that that sort of cached information often doesn't work too well, and so I usually navigate by just memorizing what page I was on in a thread. It's just a bit inconvenient to have to click on the thread link, hit "Stop", then click on the page that I want to go to.

Stop with the dod gamned complaints. A moderator should condense all 98 of your sompalint threads into one. Actually, make a thread about it.

This idea is actually useful, I guess.

You could always set your viewing to posts per page and almost all threads would be on one page.

Although I'm not sure if the appropriate template is parsed in search.php for multi-page thread links, I'll play around with it tomorrow and see what I can come up with.
