[New problem: see latest post] Quick Bluetooth Dongle Question

Hi guys
If I buy one of these, would I then be able to use my Official Sony PS3 Bluetooth Headset on my PC?
And what (if any) issues would I have going between my PS3 and my PC?
I have Windows 7 before someone asks.

Yes. I'm not sure about using the headset on more than one device but Wikipedia has some information on it.

Yes i use my sony headset on the pc and phone and ps3. No probs

Do you need to reconnect it by USB to the PS3 after every switch between PC/PS3 like you do for the Dual Shock if you use it on a mates machine?

The PS3 should be able to pick it back up without any readjustment at all.

Bluetooth dongle came this morning. I tried to set up my headset but it needed some new drivers. I got those and it says it should work perfectly.
The test sound doescome through the earpiece, but when I try to record a message on MSN there is nothing.
Any ideas??

When I tried mine, just a phone headset, it paired with the BT and I had to pick connect from its menus. At that point the headset acted like an incoming call, I pushed the button to answer. I could hear PC sounds in the headset, and could record from the mike, no problem.

I can only suggest looking into the Windows sound settings for microphone, make sure Recording settings switch over to the headset after connecting it.
