well i hve the drift intiated and now my new problem is keeping it in the drift i have done a search and looked at the stickys but that did not help! :banghead: (head hurts now)
im using trueno 86
stock suspension
all drivetrain upgrades
sim tyres
brake upgrade lvl2 weight reduction
i have done everything in my on mind (so i think) can omeone give me some pointers on how to correct my setup to stay in the drift longer or tell me what angle to go in at or something im racing midfield I

ok i see half the problem is your cars setup combined with the course ur on.

ok, get a sport suspension upgrade and set the ride height down, make the shocks stiffer, and set up the camber angle so the front is aroun 3.6 and the rear is around 1.8.
keep sims on front and back.
TCS off
ASM off
now go to your garage and test run at apricot hill.
the game starts you right before a downhill turn on that track so its a perfect setup and practise course cuz u can just start, drift the corner, and see whats wrong.
when ur in ur drift make sure ur at a gear that keeps the needle at about 7000 to 7500 rpm on ur tach.
as for telling you how to hld the drift, it takes practse, you cant just learn how, ive seen my friends all try and they initiate the drifts but they cant hold them cuz they never have practised.

just keep doing that corner over and over and over, practise practise practise and eventualy ull get it. good luck

If your talking about a ae86 without any power mods(thats what hes using) then those rpms are at the redline. dont think he wants to hold it there...
