I was reading the interview with the creator, and he claims to have beaten the Formula 1 Grand Prix with a "GT class car." This is my mission. I SHALL defeat this race with an R390 racer. I dont know how, as the last time I tried, I lost by almost 30 seconds. Now that I know its possible, I WILL do it. and I will save all the replays so I can prove it. Any others willing to try?

Wow, good luck! I can't imagine you'll be able to do this without playing serious bumper cars with the F1's, but I hope I'm proved wrong. :)
 
Well...i haven't actually tried this, but my best guess for a strategy to win would be to throw on the superslicks and don't pit(except on the REALLY long races). The F1 cars go through tires quite quickly, so you should gain time on them when they pit.
 
NOTE: The creator did NOT use the R390 LM Race Car....He DID use the TOYOTA GT-1 Race Car. ;)


I don't see the R390 handling good enough to keep up with the F1's. :( I haven't earned the toyota yet but i know on the special test that it had some potential. :D

Anywho good luck, i think i'm gonna try this too.:D
 
Well, whenever i am in a race with a Gt-one race car and a R390 Race car, the R390 usually wins. So that must mean something. I have the R390, the GT-one, and the 787B and i can't really decide which is better.
 
Hi, Don't forget, the computer drives the AI, Which we know is not great. If it was good, we might never win ! depends on a number of things, I've seen the AI spin off in the Pro League.

but i do hear that theory on teh nissan beating teh gt-1 every time
 
I have both of them and i can't really tell which is better...So i thought maybe the computer Nissan beating the comupter Toyota GT-One might mean something...
 
i don't have the nissan.....yet....but i do have the 787B and the GT-one Race Car. I am going to take on this challenge...even though i don't have much of a chance....but if Jordan says bumper cars...bumper cars it is!!!
 
my adivce is to use the toyota gt1 it handles better than the r390 and its faster than the indy cars, i'm using the mazda 787b i have won 2 races so far outa 2 and i closest indy car 2 me is 10 points behind me b/c on the last turn at one of the races i passed him and he fell to last and the guy that was in 3rd in the points got 2nd behind me so he has 10 points
 
i forgot to mention on the super speedway and test course races make sure to qualify if u dont u'll be behind from the get go and its really hard to catch up.

my advice is to, on the super speedway, hug the last turn wall, it may be a longer drive but u will have more speed comin off the corner than the indy cars
