I always wished they would improve the A.I. of the other drivers so that the racing situations would be more true to life. I’d also thought it would be a cool idea if you could have in-game radio communications with your pit crew and the other drivers just like they do in real races. They say R. Racing Evolution (http://www.racing-evolution.com/ ) is actually going to have these features, among other new things, so it looks like I may get some of my wish list after all. What are some other ways you’ve thought of that they could improve racing games? (who knows ~ maybe they’ll end up doing it… it worked for me!)

I agree! I find that the AI in car racing games are

A) too predictable

B) too God-like

like in GT3 and any of the racing simulators have AI's that are very methodical...lack of creativity in their behaviours

in arcade racers like midnight club and NFS and stuff, the AI's are just so invincible! it appears that they know where every obstruction will occur nad then dodge it easily...and the AI's don't seem to suffer from car effects like you do when you control your own car

Just out of curiosity, do you know how many cars are planned to be on this one? It looks like a very high-tech approach to the common race-game, and I would like to know a little more.

I have no idea. I don't see anywhere on the website where it gives a number or car description. I can't wait to find out though. Here's a couple of the cars:

i wish that sony would make a Gran turismo rally. i love the rally part of Gran turismo but its so short. and id like to have the realness of GT.

I wish the PD guys would make like a world racing game...I'm talkin about in the future with PS3, a game that covers most every type of racing, from British GT stuff to karting, to F1 to hell who knows. With online capabilities you could download expansion packs with a new type of racing... anyways just thought id put in my 2 cents...
