i remember playing spa online even though i dont have dlc, is this still true with route x?

The Gran Turismo website says you have to purchase the track to be able to drive on it. I think it would apply toe everyone in the room rather then just the host. I could be wrong.

Yes, you were able to play Spa for one month. But that got patched, so im guessing you wont be able to play the Test Course online without purchasing the pack.

I'm able to play Route X without the required Track Pack DLC. I do have the Car Pack, if it makes any difference what-so-ever.

I`m from UK & am currently in a route x room (the 1st one I found) with 6 americans, 1 canadian & 1 ozzy.

I can confirm that you can drive route x without buying it, just as with Spa.

I have not got the latest DLC, all I did was update to 2.03, then hunted the route x rooms to see if it works & it does.

It wont be in the track list if you haven`t downloaded it, just search through the open lobby for it.

Took me searching through about 300 rooms to actually find it.

You have to search all regions, as it`s not available in UK yet.

Will the room appear as route x? or did you join 300 rooms and hope for the best

It will be listed as Route X under the room name.

Yes, I entered and played perfectly normal in a Route X online room, while the DLC isnt even released here until after 10 hours or so....so yes you can, but the question is for how long?

Same here im in the uk i was able to join and race on route x without downloading.

That track is huge. I can imagine a few guys racing x2010 or x2011 and drafting each other and pulling like 400 plus mph.

Played it, got room ownership too, so the same as Spa before the patch.
Think of it as a free trial period, until the next patch is due.
