PD have given us two new seasonals today. A new 'Online A-Spec Challenge No. 1' and 'Expert Level Online B-Spec Challenge' plus new time and drift trails.

What do you all think of them?

The old ones are still there as far as I know. And just completed B Spec Spa there for a nice 4 million and it's repeatable thank you very much PD

Mine kept going in the grass too, just keep calming him down, I kept the bar near the middle to stop him from being an idiot. Raybrig NSX with high rpm turbo kit detuned slightly got first by lap 6.

I'm 1st in the 4th lap with an Arta NSX but this time I'm using my old level 40 Bob. I tried with 2 different level 37 Bobs before because my old one is on the decline but he seems to do well...for now.

Edit: Yep, old Bob did it! With almost no more physical strength left. Nothing like an old balls to drive you to the victory!

Same. My drivers (32 & 35) Just suck at overtaking. Theres space on the left but instead he goes for the tailights of the car infront. 👎 Really need a good car

to XXDoc: Yes, it is possible to win at La Sarthe, in B-Spec. Here's how: I used my Chaparral 2J and a 36 level driver, I drove with no lights on intermediate tires and was 6th with 1.5 laps to go in the race. I could see that everyone ahead of me was pitting because the rain had let up and the track was clear (and in daylight), so I just breezed through without pitting on the ninth lap and won by 25 seconds over some tough competition (the Judd cars and some Audis). The trick is to maximize your driver's performance (into the red zone) and just keep pushing him, even after his (green) energy levels are depleted. Besides, with a car that corners like the Chaparral, you can easily keep up with the field in the early stages of the race. Worked for me!

BTW, I am referring to the B-Spec seasonal race here, but I also used the Chaparral 2J to win handily on the Deep Valley course in the A-spec race. Both these races give huge payouts if you race regularly (i.e. each day): 6 million for La Sarthe in B-Spec and 800 000 for Deep Valley. All in all, quite worthwhile for less than an hour of actual racing....

I find it weird that the Stealth NSX can't enter the Spa event. Not that it matters anyway, the Raybrig NSX slaughtered the GT-R's in that race. I even pitted to give them a chance.

But then Sarthe is an absolute pain in the rectum. I tried everything with the 787B, everything failed, so I'm resorting to the 2J like the cheap git that I am.

See my two previous messages. The Chaparral is the key to at least two of the races, because of its exceptional traction and incredible cornering ability, both in A-Spec and B-Spec.

i did the same thing and it worked,some people want to use a audi r8 race car or a gt one toyota but the chapparal is perfect

Just tried something a bit different with the Spa GT500 race. I used the Nomad Diablo GT-1 '00. Started on intermediates, ran the arse off my Bob (Level 22 Bob, by the way) for the first six laps, which got him up to first place, whereupon I immediately pitted in for fresh inters. Came out of the pits in 5th place, but ran my Bob fairly hard (about 75% on the hot-cool meter) and jumped all those places on Lap 7 when everyone else pitted (thereby clogging the pits, which was why I didn't want to pit then!).

Thing is, if you do it that way, Bob still wants to pit on every subsequent lap, so you have to be vigilant and tell him firmly, "No." I won it by over 30 seconds this way, and my L22 Bob jumped up to become an L25 Bob in one event!

Diablo setup:
aero: 35F/40R
ballast: 100kg (1300kg total weight), position -39 for 50/50 weight distribution (since the Diablo's a bit diabolical in its rear-heavy handling)
Engine: 552hp (big turbo, tuned down with limiter)
Transmission: 205mph top speed (it never really goes more than 165 or so, so I really should lower that to get more usable power band. I thought I had. )
LSD: left alone on default settings
Suspension: default
Brakes: 10F/5R
Tires: Racing Intermediate

Neither the Stealth GT500 cars are being allowed to be used in the GT500 events. A bugger, but there ya have it. Going to go with the inters and have another go, started with rains and got left in the slush first go at this. Using Uncle Tom's Supra.

Used the Supra with inters and kept him out of the pits...an easy win with no stops, just had to keep him on a leash when the track started to dry out near the end as I have found that he starts to lose grip if running at full belt over the last couple laps.

Won both. LV 32 and 29 bos at start 33 and 32 now. used a Woodone TOM's supra for Spa and the 2J for Le Sarthe.
