New Seasonal?

I understand that PD is "waiting" for Sony to get PSN updates done, but that was yesterday. It is now Wednesday and I haven't seen a thread regarding a new seasonal event. I'm going to assume that there isn't one up yet.

So, what do you expect of the next seasonal? Also, is it possible that new events will be added with the game update that is supposed to occur soon?
 
I'm expecting to see a new seasonal tonight considering they did one last week. They usually pop up about 10:30 my time here on the east coast. And a new used car list would be awesome too. 👍
 
I assume there will be a new one, but what it may be remains a mystery.
 
I'm gonna take a guess and say rally since they had so many rally cars in the dealership. That'd be cool to mix it up a little.
 
I think the "updates" that PD is waiting on PSN for are above and beyond that which we'd see as far as a new Seasonal Event - and hopefully a refreshed OCD.

a rally would be awesome :) They have had quite a few rally cars in OCD before and it never happened but we can only hope. Another thing I would like to see eventually is some Le Mans track action with the seasonals. Could have slower cars race the '05 la sarthe and faster ones do the '09 with and without chicanes, thats 4 tracks. Could throw in monza for the fun of it or a custom track.

Possibly this was answered, but another update for time trial and seasonal should be in a few hours, at least in the US. I think this will be a full online update, because it feels like they rushed the one the last week, like they noticed the network came back online in the US a little late. Its nice how hard those Japanese peeps are working, but yeah because they are a small crew, I don't think they can cope well with disasters like that and online trouble. Just my few cents.
I hope the new update is like midnight run or night only races. Or like everyone else wants something fresh and not just a refresh of the A-spec series. The big update is coming fairly soon.

Before anyone goes off that there aren't any updates, remember that PD said this when releasing the regular seasonals.

"Our thanks to you all for you participation in the Seasonal Events!

From this point the Seasonal Events will generally be updated on Thursday every week at 04:00 (GMT).

Please note that the timing of these updates may vary by +/- 1 day, we recommend checking the distribution periods as listed in the Event list screen.

Make sure to keep an eye out for extra Special Events not included in the periodic updates! These will be notified separately in our news section."
 
No update like I thought, they could be one day late.
At least the store is up for me and working fine. Its having some errors but everything eventually goes through. The store being back is one less excuse for GT5 for DLC or more on the update side.
I do understand that the Japanese people and government are less trusting and there store will come up probably weeks later which is also going to delay big things.
Either way I am hoping there is more updates soon now as the store is now hours old and back up for at least the US and some other countries...
I am excited that at least no more disasters are occuring...
 
Maybe there is something bigger planned i have my fingers crossed lol, also hope they bring back seasonal drift and TT I'm having withdrawals :p
 
In absence of any seasonal time trials today I'll be doing our regular GT evening in a McLaren MP4-12C around Monaco. Anyone up for some ghetto leaderboard action? Stock 12C from the Arcade with SS tyres.

yeah. Played all those. Was hoping for something with LMP and GT cars to race against. I know I'm kinda dreaming. :sly:
 
Waiting for new Time Trial s as they are the best way to measure how good you are as a driver and tuner on-line.
