Obviously after integrating everything they could possibly think of into the Bravia range they threw in the kitchen sink!... a PS2.

Its interesting because Sony right from the beginning were thinking of integrating a PS2 into a TV and there were even mock ups I saw in a magazine back in 2000 (it was a SD box TV with a PS2 integrated where a VCR slot would be). They then attempted something similar with the PSX (stand alone media unit) which flopped so I guess third time lucky.

Its amazing that they are still releasing iterations of the PS2 after all this time. I doubt the PS3 will be around this long.

A 22-inch full HD TV? Not bad for £200, even if it never came with a built in PS2. I wonder how long Sony can keep marketing a previous generation Console.

You guys have to remember that the PS2 is STILL the best selling console of all time. And, considering it has out sold it's nearest competitor by nearly 10 million units away from it...and that's counting the handhelds. The current second place non-handheld console...is the PS1. But, since the PS2 is the best selling console ever, you better believe Sony's going to milk that console for every last drop. Heck, they milked the PS1 for a while, as well. And you can believe, when the PS4 comes out, they'll still be marketing the PS3 for a while.

Some more studio shots, nice and shiny!

And some pictures of it in the real world.. Looks interesting and would be perfect as a PC monitor.
