Did you all hear? SoulFly is coming out with a brand new album.. It's called "Prophecy." - Release is March 30th..

I hear its pretty kick-ass. What all do you think of it, when compared to older albums? (For example, "Back to the Primitive.")

Oh, and if you havent heard anything from their new album, i think theres a song or two up on www.roadrun.com under artists. Take a look.
 
Sepultura toured the Uk in '92 i saw them and shook hands and had a chat with the singer after the show..such nice down-to-earth guys.....man, that guy is small, i towered over him...the gig was excellent...but for some reason i havent really got into SoulFly much....its the same guy isnt it?
 
Uh.. No. It's more Nu/Thrash Metal. Heh. Death metal is alot different. ;)
 
Back to the Primitive is one of my all time favorite cd's. 👍

I don't have Soulfly 3 yet!

Nu Metal is stuff like Linkin Park...
 
it originally started as Death Metal when Death Metal was something different than it is now....but theyre not Nu metal specially since they been making music since 1986. They stared off in the 80's Slayer/Kreator/NuclearAssault vein but with Brazilian tribal influence....they used to be solid as Sepultura but theyve gone soft...(the usual story)
