It was under 3 seconds off the GT pole time, wich for a debut has to be considered good. As for the race, a finish is basically a good result. If they finish, I'm pretty sure they'll be last of the finishers.
One of the cars is probably having its first outing ever, and the other one have only been tested once. Neither of the cars have finilized race setups, since the teams don't know their potential yet.
I think SRT is doing the right thing though. Dev on track under race conditions will ensure a competitive package for next season.
