New Steering Wheel - ISSUES!!!

I just received a new wheel from the wife for christmas. Its a PDP from Gamestop. It gets decent reviews online from folks playing GT5 but when I enter a race my ebrake is locked and i cannot drive. Everything else seems to function fine. Any suggestions or help. I dont wanna return this cause Ill have family all weekend here and I wanna go racing!!!!

I searched Gamestop and found that.





I haven't ever heard of/seen that wheel before, so I can't help with any specific knowledge, but I would assume that it is defective.

Have you tried it with any other games, to see if it has any problems there as well?

Yes, its the house brand wheel from Gamestop. I dont have another racing game to try it with unfortunately. My first thought was defective because on the reviews at Gamestop others are playing GT5 with it. Bummer....... It seems to be a nice little wheel. I was hoping to do some racing today but oh well maybe not. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas.
