just thought u guys might like to know, i just did a run on rfactor on pikes peak with the 405 T16 hillclimb car from the historic rally car mod. did it with only auto clutch as driving aid, and even though i spun twice i did it in......

Edit: i can't actually believe this - the fastest time in real-life up PP is 10'04 by Rod Millen. So that means, I WENT FASTER THAN ROD MILLEN UP PIKES PEAK!
Good, now all you have to do is go there in real life and do it, then you'll be a hero.
I know Walter Rohrl, who held the record before Millen, said he could of cut off 20 seconds off his time if he drove a little cleaner. Which would have made his time well under 10 minutes. 0_0
Its got a heck of launch out of first gear. That's the only trouble I had with it was when I had to shift into first and go through the real tight sections, I'd dang near shoot into the wall if I didn't keep control of the throttle.
This looks like fun. I love classic rally Cars (I've got a model of the Peugeot 205 in the closet waiting to be built ). Is the Delta S4 challenge still going?
Now I have to win a new one. Oh well.
