400m Drag Strip Photo Comp

There seems to be a lot of talk on these forums about 400m times.
I think its time to find the fastest cars, and drivers, across all spectrums.
​



The competition will be broken down into 10 leagues as follows;

FF with NOS (League 1)
FF without NOS (League 2)

FR with NOS (League 3)
FR without NOS (League 4)

MR with NOS (League 5)
MR without NOS (League 6)

RR with NOS (League 7)
RR without NOS (League 8)

4WD with NOS (League 9)
4WD without NOS (League 10)​

Rules.​

Any tyre is acceptable (super-soft all round then!).

Street cars only.

Post the make and type of your car, and the league you are in.

A photo of your car crossing the finish line must be provided in your reply, to do this save the replay of your run, then load it in replay theatre and photograph it there, only entries with a photo will be accepted!!​

Note: Image says 7.73, but that's due to GT being weird at rounding. It's actually 7.722 !
 
Sweet. This league idea could go somewhere. I'll start work on my car today, and hopefully have something posted by tomorrow night. 👍

Nissan Skyline GT-R '99, 820hp, full suspension/drive train upgrades, stage 5 (yes, five) turbo, no nitrus



ran a 9.924 on my first try with it on manual transmision

it runs high 8s with nitrus.

ill see if i can find my other shots of this run for you guys...and then ill post my WRX

ok, here strr the rest of the pics from that skyline run:





the Finish sign looks like it says 2.99, but it really said 9.99 dispite my actual time being 9.924(dont know why it always rounds up).......this would be in league 10

At the moment slo-car has the fastest league 9 time, GTrackd02 has the fastest league 3 time and FWA2500 has the fastest league 10.

Is there any car that can rival the imprezza?

my RX-7 came close but no dice, my Skyline was slower than the -7 and my Supra was 2 seconds slower than that despite running at 860hp and nitrous to push it well over 900hp.....i have yet to try my '97 FTO....
ill have to see what i can do with my Lotus....my Elise is preaty fast off the line but i havent taken it to Vegas yet....(i gave up on my Speed 12 for the 400m, despite its power/weight ratio being the second lowest of all my cars it is a pig off the line...never got better than 12.xxx in it)..........but those are all in diferent leagues...lol

Altough, I might not be able to provide an image, but I'll try borrowing my lil' brothers camera phone. :indiff:

I've been polishing several ff cars. 2 civic type r's, a '97 and an '02, a clio 2.0 16v and an alfa gta, so far the 97 civic is quickest with a 13.2.

Look into an Eclipse -- it's the fastest FF production car in the game :)

I had mine running low 12s (almost 11s), and I somehow managed to mess it up... now it runs 13s. :crazy:

Alright, I don't know if anyone else is tweaking their FF's but I scrounged through my garage and remembered I had my mighty mini. I've been tweaking the gear ratios, limited-slip, and nos settings for a couple of hours now and this is what I got. If you have better post it up...I want to get a good FF competition going on.

Slo, I hate you. I spent about two hours on the strip with my WRX Spec C last night, and the best I could get it to run was consistent 7.9's
