My problem is i keep trying to drift in Trial mountains but everytime i do it i usually just go into a power slide. I managed to do a drift before on Apricot track but it was really lucky and not sure what i did to get it to drift.

What i do is when entering a corner go the opposite way of the corner, tap brakes, then turn into the corner but i would just get a powerslide. I sometimes also tap brakes before going opposite way just to test if i was doing it in the wrong order but it still didnt work. Need help, thanks.

There is a whole thread on settings....take a look there before u post next time!!

GTPlanet Settings thread

Yah, that is where i got my suspension customized. I dont think that its the suspension i think its my technique.

Edit: I also read alot of the "how to drift" threads but still cant get it.

I like that! The member recognizes that they need help with the technique not so much the car needing to be tuned/detuned. That's just excellent.

Ok, here's the deal. You're asking an incredibly general question that has been answered in the places you say that you've looked. So what I suggest is going back to the game, analyze EXACTLY what goes on and then compare that to some vids from the same track. This will give you a better foundation in which to ask questions about your technique. Right now, it could literally be about 100 different things. So, do some self analysis and come back. We'll be willing to help.
