New to forza, been missing out!

Hi all
Finally decided to give forza 4 a try. I wish I got it sooner, didn't realise I was missing out on such an awesome game. After only a few hours of playing I'm already impressed. GT 5 is falling behind.
I've been playing GT since the first game. I go under the same name in the gt forums and used to be a part of southern sliders, now disbanded, was a good group.
I think if it wasn't for Xbox live and there pointless membership payment, forza 4 would be a lot more popular with me and my mates. None of my friends play forza because you have to pay to play online ,especially when there's a free service offering exactly the same thing. I decided to get the subscription because forza is worth it.
Will have to learn how to drift all over again, but it shouldn't take me too long.
 
Great to see you've joined the dark side! :p $50 may seem like much to play online, but if you think about it, that's only about $4 a month. I only have a silver (free) account so I can get the DLC, plus I'm not big on playing online right now, but I'd say to play online for less than what you're probably paying for your cell phone (if you have one) is a good deal.
 
Welcome to the fold Accendo, I came from GT5 as well, when I got a look at the cars and the detail they had in Forza4, my interest was immediately peaked. The monthly releases really help to keep me in the game.

Yeah here in Aus it's I think $80 a year. Like buying one game a year.
Still learning the ropes with this game and working out the settings options on the cars compared to gt5, I'm sorting starting to get the drift. I noticed the cars have more understeer compared to gt5, although when you do break grip it happens more quickly, just need to get the settings right.
 
Welcome to Forza. If you keep an eye open Amazon, Microsoft, and ebay have deals a couple times a year that offer xboxlive for around $32.00 a year. You should NEVER have to pay $59.99 a year to play xboxlive. $35.00 a year at the most. Which is only $2.91 a month for an online experience that destroys the free service on the other systems.
