New to GT5 quick question

Hi guys ive recently come from Forza to GT and thought I'd get into the series with GT5 so im on the ball for GT6 , but I can't find how to send game invites, I set up a online race last night but then couldn't find how to invite my friends, I ended up having to ring a couple of them and telling them lol.

Thought they might know but there as clueless as I am , also whilst im asking how do you add AI to online races inorder to fill the grid ? I couldn't find a way to do this either , I know its probably very simple and im no doubt looking with my eyes shut .

You can't send game invites but you got to tell the to join you.Example join my lobby.
 
When you set up a room for racing your friends (added on PSN) will be able to see a yellow icon on your profile in GT world. When they press on the icon they will be directly sent to your lobby. 👍

As nissman said, your friends wil go into the community section and find your name and click on the yellow icon by the Coffey cup. As for AI, no you can not add them to online races. Oh and it kinda sucks if your starting GT5 right now because good lobbies are hard to find:indiff:

Unless you're into drag, cruise, drift, or outrageously overpowered street cars on outrageously grippy RS tires. Plenty of those lobbies around..:sly:
 
Guys im still a bit lost, how would my friends know ive set a game up ? Say their not playing gt but playing some other game how do I send a game request for them to except ?

Im sorry if im being a bit thick , on the xbox / forza you just send game invites and your friends just click except its that simple but I can't see how to do this ? Going to my coffee cup is cool but how do I tell them to do this if there not playing gt at that time?

Sorry fellas this is a learning curve for me.

There is no invite system in GT5 whatsoever. You have to contact your friends with a message (on PSN) to let them know you're in or you have made a lobby. You have to physically tell them.
 
Right. And once you tell your friends you have a lobby up they will find you by clicking on the yellow icon. Really not so complicated.
