Just wanna ask you sthing.

I've heard there is a VGA box with which you can play PS2 on your monitor and it gives much better picture and resolution. Is this true?!? Could I connect PS2 on my VIVO graphic card and not buy this?!?

Thanks in advance.

The resolution is the same. Regardless of how the image is displayed, the PS2 itself is still exporting the same image that's going to a television.. 720x480x60i. The image may seem to be higher quality if your monitor or graphics card is performing anti-aliasing and uprezzing, but this will simply make the edges somewhat fuzzy. It may also have difficulties in properly displaying the 60fps, which is an interlaced signal, not progressive. De-interlacing the signal would mean the game is only running at 30fps, unless it attempts to fill in the interlaced fields, in which case it'll run 60p, but at a reduced resolution.

Besides, they don't make monitors as large as my TV set, so I'm fine with it as-is. :)
