Because of all the scam happened recently, I would like to offer a few tips to make trading safer for both parties.
1/ If your guts tell you it's too good to be true, it is.
2/ Have both parties "SHARE" the cars involved in trading so you both can check them out and make sure there's no BS. This need to be done before any car is send.
3/ Check out the other person profile (post count, when they register,...)
4/ If you are the seller and have a valuable car, have the buyer send first.
5/ Record the transaction for proof. You just have to record the final confirmation message (that have the car and destination) and the operational complete message.
6/ Check the Reputation Thread. (from Dexgod)
7/ If you believe you have been the victim of a scam, then contact a moderator privately. Do not create a thread (or post in another) accusing them, especially if you have no evidence of it. (from interludes)
If you have more useful tips, contribute and I'll update this post.
