New to X-Box. Need suggestions.

I just got an X Box for my son. We have had the PS2 since it came out. I'm into racing games like GT3 . He is into games like
Final Fantasy.
Can you guys suggest some games for the X-Box that would be like these?

How is Gotham City Racer?(I think I got the title right)

For racing I would suggest the following DGB454 :

Project Gotham Racing

For RPG games I would suggest the following :

Morrow Wind

I really don't know much about Xbox RPG's yet so I just gave one link. I hope this helps out DGB. Also, welcome to the Planet! :)

Yeah Project Gotham rocks. It's cool to see a good looking game actually have damage effects on good looking real cars.

Needless to say I bougtht an XBox with Project Gotham the next day, and loving it.

I've been playing it for about two weeks now, for about an hour a day and I just unlocked both of the 360's, man!

I'm still confused on why the 355's are still unlocked...

But, FINALLY, some Ferrari's!
 
Can't wait to get project Gotham now. My son just got his first taste of Halo and he really loves it.
Graphics look great too.

You and your son should play a 2 player quest together. My friend David and I did that. It's really cool to play with a friend throughout the whole game. Team work comes into play a great deal. Try it, it's loads of fun. :)

No problem, if he keeps showing you up just kill him an blame on on one of the countless enimies you encounter at times. Just stick a plasma nade on his back and run away. He'll never know. ;)

Have you tried Baldur's Gate? Pretty good hack-n-slash RPG.
Or action RPG as they are called. It is a pretty good multiplayer game as well.

Since I have had my Xbox I tend to prefer sports games on it over my PS2. If you like any sports games I would give them a try.

MotoGP on Xbox is excellent, if you can find it I highly recommend it. If you like motorcycles or racing games in general.

I have played multiplayer Ghost Recon also. Tough game, but rewarding too.

To bad it isn't out yet. As soon as it does though I will pick it up. I saw previews of it on Extended Play. It looked great.
 
For RPG games, I would definately suggest Morrowind. I have it for PC, and it's my second favorite game (next to Age of Mythology which totally kicks ass). The Baldur's Gate games are also very good RPGs, however Morrowind just pwns them all. For racing games, Project Gotham Racing and Sega GT 2003 (it should have come with your Xbox. They have started including two free games in the Xbox bundle, Sega GT 2003 and Jet Set Radio Future).

Yeah but the Xbox version will look better. I heard something about the cars on the Xbox would have a couple thousand more polygons per car or something. Am I right?

I have not heard that but it wouldn't suprise me at all if the Xbox version looks better.
 
CMR3 rocks.

drive the rally GB viewed from inside the car with it p***ing down with rain and stones bouncing off the underside of the car - Awesome.

The best car to destroy is the Metro 6R4.
 
for racing i suggest... Project Gotham and NFS hot pursuit 2.
for RPG's i suggest... Morrowind, and whatever you do, dont get shenmue2 because there is a lot of dead time (boring)👎

Better wait for the PS2 version bcs all the driving games wich I played on Box are sooooo ******g stupid to control on that freaky joystick.Better PS's joys for racing games. :irked:
