I was looking at the Japanese Gran Turismo 5 website, and they have some hidden videos of the new Toyota 86 in-game, that weren't uploaded to the english speaking Gran Turismo sites.

Enjoy this 9 minutes gameplay footage of the '86 Grand Prix' held in the Toyota Booth at the 42nd Toyko motor show.

Why do you say this video is *hidden* on Japanese official site?

It stands on the very frontpage, with description and everything and it os normaly available in flash or QT or WMV download.

Also, why do you imply it is 2.2 OS?

Sorry wrong word, but it is only on the Japanese one, and the only way you could notice it is buy the thumbnail, unless you can speak Japanese..:)
 
The bump at 1:35 sounds a little different to me. A little higher pitched than what I'm normally used to hearing. Car sound is still kind of lame IMO.

In my opinion, and I'm about 99% sure, that those are not the updated "racing sounds".

Everybody just wait until after the update before we start speculating/complaining.
 
great video! i drove this car for a bit this morning b4 work.
my first impression: FAST!
was running at 513pp, and easily setting faster lap times than my fastest 525pp car.
cant wait to get home and tune the suspension:sly:
