I don't know if this has always been this way, but it seems that 1.05 introduced a new way of refreshing the UCD. This one is quicker than the License test one, since it only has one loading bar.

This is how to do it:

1. Pick a non-championship race (I used B-spec)
2. Enter
3. Start the race and immediately exit it
4. Restart the race
5. Exit the race again
6. Repeat this untill you had 5 starts (4 restarts)
7. Go to UCD: Full refresh!

:)Happy Holidays to you all!:)

I personally think that being forced to refresh the UCD is a waste of time.
I don't see why PD would do that, it doesn't offer anything in terms of a challenge, just time wasting.

I can do refresh UCD faster

Open any of the licenses, click next license test 3 times - easy :)

Edit: although it may be quicker your way, as you have to load each test.

Tell me.

I know (I thought it was 4 times, though...) It does take longer as you need to load every test as you say. For people who are power-refreshing this method can save some time.

Why not just play the races, earn cr & xp in the process and have a bit of fun rather than starting and restarting races?

The game is not going any where.

Well, contrary to what you might think, I actually do that, but.... when I noticed this, I thought I'd post it here for anyone who might find it to be of use.

I saw many posts of people refreshing for hours to get the FGT.

Don't get me wrong. I am not bashing anyone who does this. I just don't understand why they would want to?

Or maybe I am being too purist about the way I play? Either way, I was just interested as to why someone would play the game without playing the game just to get a car that little bit quicker rather than playing it the way it was intended?

I had to do this for about 3 minutes to get the FGT for the event in Extreme.

I felt the same way until I earned the 4,800,000 or so you need for the FGT. I spent hours power cycling the UCD and found so many awesome cars as I did so, the 205 T16 (road car) being a highlight.

If you've just grinded your way from 0 to 4,800,000cr in one night, the prospect of 5x4min races to completely cycle the UCD once is a bit off putting. Of course, now that you don't have to hunt for the FGT it's a little different, and I haven't power cycled since I found the FGT. I've been tempted, to see what will come up, but I just race instead.

I do see what you mean. I did the long grind to 4.8 mil, made even longer by spotting the odd LM or Touring Car along the way.
