New update (2.12) has bonkered my car

Just hopped on after installing 2.12

Seems this update has totally fubar'ed the transmission of a few of my cars. The transmission is totally reset

So far (total reset):
Cuda, Chevelle, GTO '64

Possibly effected:
Zonda C12S 7.3, Superbird, Superbee

All my other cars are totally fine 👍

I'm able to replicate this. Set your transmission ratios on aftermarket wheels and put the stockers back on, same thing happens. So I speculate that if you were on aftermarket wheels in 2.11 you will be fine

Deleted. I didn't try setting with aftermarkets first. Nothing was affected here.

Edit: svt cobra trans was reset

My hacked cars were just reset, suspension and hp, not deleted, they'll looked hacked in the cars list with the high hp rating but as soon as you get into it it resets.

But, my svt cobra which wasn't a hack got its trans reset

🤬 this, so I'll have to do what? Take pics of my settings sheets to get my tunes before updating. Gtfo PD, I might aswell quit playing this outdated game.

Let's get one thing straight. I NEVER moaned about hybrids, get your facts straight. I owned and made them. With HxD, put some hours into it. Just didn't use them against people who didn't want me to. It was not the hybrid cars that ruined the game, it was the people. And PD solved it the wrong way, if I wanted I could still use stage 5 turbos, engine tuning and weight reductions among with RSS tyres. All they did is gave the cheaters that only hack like 30 bhp more a way to cheat, claim their tune is super fast, and get away with it. I'm sure that's what you want, right? And they totally destroyed the drift community, realistic engine swaps, N/A cars that got turbo kits IRL ad many more. Instead of doing an online block and banning the noobs who used them in time and drift trials.

A drag community as a whole did moan, and as you are a drag racer, who is part of the community, I put you with the rest of us. How many people would need to be blocked? That would take more effort than a patch against hybridding. PD did the right thing for the game, maybe not the players, but the game is as it was meant to be played once again.

Sorry for putting you with the rest of the community. I will argue no further.

I know a lot of dragers who enjoyed their mods just as much as I did. It is true that we were not exactly the majority, but it was around 45% of people I drag with on a weekly basis.

As for the blocking part, maybe I put it the wrong way (excuse my English...), what I wanted to say is that all they needed to do was integrate the "hybrid blocker" that they put in the 2.12 patch into their servers and you simply would not be able to acces online when in a hacked car or acces your hacked cars when online. Get it?
 
That would have been a good idea. Or maybe even a setting in the lounges, where you could allow hybrids or not, like the SRF setting.

Yeah, those insane hp cars were basically undriveable.
 
Am I the only one that has had no sucsess making a hybrid or finding a program that opens?
 
Well now the new patch reset all hybrids. I had to download not only the editor, but a program to open it and a DLL file fixer. It sucks.

I really think it was a new GT5 tool and people were having fun with it....I build a couple of 7second cars and 8second cars, also a few vipers and enzos killers!!

A few weeks ago I had to delete all my cars because I was afraid of getting blocked!!!

Yeah I've only seen one clearly modded car after the last patch, but yeah they are definitely still around unfortunately, good running eg's/dc2 with you last night mate, it's not often hondas are seen in australian lobby's unfortunately lol
