Is it v1.02? If so, then that's a bit strange. Y'know, for a day one patch to be v1.02.

I also got this small update, not sure what that is but it isn't 1.02

It also appeared as a GT6 prompt and not a XMB screen like 1.01

I got it too. Don't take this as a fact but I suspect it enables access to the in-game store (where we can buy credits) because when I attempted to enter it yesterday I got a message that I needed an update. I was kind of puzzled as I had just installed the 1.01 update.

I guess a big payoff from Honda was more important, than player choice.

I think some car sounds have been tweeked with this update. I noticed some difference in a good way compared to yesterday, just after the day one patch.

The comfort tires howl like they should.

They weren't howling for me; the audio was clipping badly and I had turn the compression back on by selecting "Living Room" to get it under control.

The first time I got into the game, it said there was a new update, but it failed and told me to try again, but I got no notification the second time I started the game.

Edit: After getting into the National B and having Sports Hards instead of the Comfort Softs, I changed the audio back to "Large Theater" and the clipping didn't occur. There is definitely something off with the CS tires.

I would like to know what this update did. I noticed that the FR-S gave me a totally different sensation when driving it after installing this update. I no longer seem to be able to drift the car as easily as I initially could. I can't figure out why...

Did you change the tires? Lol In GT5 a few days ago I was driving an N24 car and I wondered why is was handling so poorly (accidentally put on SS tires).

I don't have the game yet so idk and Newegg hasn't shipped it yet

I think it changed the price of the audi r8 lms team oreca and '09 to 1,575,000 credits. I think it was 400,000 yesterday. Can anyone confirm?
