its quite possible that this is a repost, and even if it isnt, im sure many of you have seen it from somewhere/somtime. but for anyone who hasnt, people must know the lengths of someones stupidity. Heres a nice little gem from an srt board from an innovative gentleman who discovered a new way to drain oil out of your car

http://srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75356&page=1&pp=15

enjoy :) Hopefully not a repost, amazingly the threads only about 5 days old, but already a classic

"HA! I got the oil out without taking the nut off. My car probably hates me now though. I just unscrewed the oil filter and turned the car on. Makes a mess because oil sprays everywhere, but I got the **** out of the car. Filled it up with mobile one and yeah."

lmfao what a retard :dopey:

hehe, yeah that got around quick. I saw it yesterday. This guys shouldn't even be alllowed to own a car anymore.

What Exactly is a Darwin Award? Is it ike a gold medal in Special Olympics?

Edit: Also, the pulsating action of an air impact wrench is really good for removing stubborn bolts. Wonder if he thought of that :dunce:

aww, they locked the thread out. Looks like they (or the server) got tired of the 1000+ people viewing the thread at once, and only 5-10 of those being actual members..haha.

For anyone who didnt see it, heres the jist of it. A fellow on the SRT boards wanted to change his oil, but found that the drain plug was on too tight, and for whatever reason, didnt wanna try to get it off, worried that he'd strip the plug....so...since he had more compassion for the PLUG than he did he entire engine, this was his solution, as drift god quoted in his thread

Now imagine 11 more pages of some of the funniest bashing, ripping on, and insulting threads i have ever seen at what an idiot this individual was.

It's odd that he knows enough about cars to know what an oil filter is and where it is, yet he doesn't know that it's not a good thing to run your motor without oil.

That thread is still going intl, though...

Heh, so that's what Darwin awards are for. Tell me, does the guy who was hurt when he was jaywalking and a Chrysler PT cruiser hit a Mitsubishi Montero on its side, causing the Montero to roll over the pedestrain thanks to the big large hole put in it by the initial hit, deserve a Darwin Award? Or mabye some kind of 'God was on your side there, buddy' award?

Mmmm, jaywalking really isn't that stupid though. Typically to get one you have to do something really stupid that kills you. They may also give out awards for people who make themselves unable to reproduce in really stupid ways... the point of the award is that the dumb ones are unable to pass on their genetic code, death pretty much insures that they dont.

Right even I jaywalk on emty streets but damn that guy was lucky... I saw the stoplight vid and I thought he was dead but then I read about on MSN.com and he actualy survived. One lucky dude.

do you have a link to that video? i cant find it anywhere.

the guy wasnt even jaywalking, he was just standing on the damn sidewalk when the car rolled over him. id say its more of a god definently loves you award

Or you could just change your oil with coolant!

This has been all over the place.

Yeah, also, if your rear brakes need adjusted...just drive at 40mph and throw your car in reverse. That will get them done... :sly:

My dad's method is pumping the brakes while driving in reverse

Roadie's rears are due for new shoes, anyway.
