New XL edition for EU question

So I just saw that there is coming an XL bundle to Europe. And I do want do buy it and sell my GT5 copy so my question is if I do sell my GT5 game and buy the XL bundle disc will I still be able to play the game with my current save or not? Even tough it isn't out yet but hey there are so many smart people around here.

Definitely keep it for now and try it and see when the new one comes out.
 
I'm using my XL disc for months now rather than my first original disc. No issues at all. Just save your game on a USB just in case, but I see no issues for you.
 
1. It's not an XL edition, it's an Academy edition.
2. Why do you want to buy it? For the DLC? Surely it'd be cheaper to just buy the DLC from the store.

Type XL in my opinion.
Yep for the DLC and cause it will probely start from 2,7 and not 1,1 or 1,0.
I can sell my copy for about 20 to 25 and 30 with luck so giving 5 bucks extra for a new disc and nearlly all DLC is quite cheap.

Nobody is going to buy an original GT5 from you for anymore than $15 ($10 if lucky). Very popular games like that lose their value to like 20% of original cost within 6 months. And is it really worth doing that?

Got to agree, second hand copies of the original were only fetching 8 pounds on amazon a month ago when I bought my second disc.
 
Just pick it up and add it to your GT collection! I'm in US.. I bought the collectors edition when it came out so I used the game from it.. But when XL came out I bought a copy and left it un-opened to put with my collectors edition bundle, then the Japan Spec shortly after! I will gladly buy the one from Europe just to add to a collection! I got a late start so I'm not a "huge" collector like some but I do have un-opened copies of GT and GT2.. I'm yet to find an un-opened copy of GT3 and GT4 for a descent price :( ..

There are alot "monumental idiots" in our country especially my friend who wants this game.

Free Record shop is giving me 19 Euro's. And they are selling it for about 30.

I don't get the screw stuff. He does not know something about this game and he won't be like " holy cow there's an new version of this game" he is rich, if he wants something he gets it so... Why not?

So be honest with him and don't try and rip him off.

Doesn't matter if he's rich, poor, blind, deaf, or dumb. Don't mislead him.
