Update #1 - Ferrari F40 Competizione​

Starting my photo gallery, the car I've been shooting is my favorite car of all time, the Ferrari F40 Competizione.

Small shots and my phone butchered some of the photo quality, will update to fix it later... But here's the start.

Just messing around, wheelie at 170 mph! Just a funny photo, only took a couple seconds and snapped it.

The quality is fine, its just the varitions between your TV and your computer monitor that is making the differences. I like the fourth shot, but it would look much better IMO if it had less fisheye.
 
The fourth is my favorite as well.

But I love this car! One of my favorites in the game and I bought one as soon as I got the money. I painted mine matte yellow. :)

Thanks for the feedback! The third was just messing around, some glitch and I was doing a standing wheelie at 170 mph :p

Thank you! I wish I would have thought about it before I shot that one because the matte finish makes it harder to see the F40 logo, gloss makes it really stand out. Oh well.

Still trying to get the hang of this! Taking photos in the game is so much more different than in person because there are so many ways that aren't possible in the real world! Once I get the focus thing figured out I'm hoping they'll be noticeably better :dopey:

Took these in about 4-5 hours. No crazy rolling shots for now still trying to get the focus down.

Other than that let me know what you think and any tips you have!

This one is my least favorite, was just trying to apply what I figured out from focus and apply to street shots. Also it is much darker than I anticipated.

1st shot is my fave. Really like the lighting.

Not a bad effort at all with the last one. I can't grasp night shots at all.

Hey, thanks. Yeah I also discovered that my TV brightness is brighter than my game so my night shots are ending up to be darker after the fact.
 
I sit on the floor when I play so that gets the brightness all over the place. I'm often quite shocked once I look at them on the laptop.

Oh, and I was going to say in my earlier post, that car has one of the nicest rear ends going!

Agreed! I got one rolling shot of it from the ass end ;) but forgot to upload it. Will add when I get home.
 
Nice job on the apollo, you can really tell the difference in the settings. Glad to see I can help someone lol.

Ha! Thanks again, I noticed less over all fuzz too. And thanks I'll take that for a compliment! Lol Next car shoot should be better because looking back at your tut I did some things wrong. Third times a charm right?? 👍

I like the first tunnel shot, and the last shot the best.

Your next step you need to take is ditch photobucket and start uploading at www.flickr.com. Flickr doesnt degrade your photos you upload :)

Somewhat short set, haven't had a lot of time to play lately but here's what I came up with.

Also I need to adjust my monitor's brightness to match the game's. Many shots I'm taking look fine on screen but are very dark when I download them.













And for the big shot... and my personal favorite :)



Unfortunately the big shot process chopped some of the background but oh well.

And yeah looking I agree with the big shot, part of my intention was to crop it and keep the resolution but I clearly didn't get around to that :lol: When I took it I just loved the sort of miniaturized affect it had.
