As many major series have just finished their season over the last weekend. The New Zealand Motorsport scene is only just ramping up. With the Speedworks Championship starting up this weekend at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park.

You may be surprised to find that NZ has some off the best grassroot series in the world. Whether it be the mighty Central Muscle Cars or the GTRNZ series where anything goes.

So here you can post some photos or results. Or learn about some of NZs finest.

To start off here are some Videos of the Central Muscle Cars at the Hampton Downs 500 from the end of October.

Saw the winning Mustang testing at Manfeild a few weekends back. That thing is a serious bit of kit 500k invested into that. Sounds absolutely amazing!

Yeah but it’s a bit of a one sided affair the Camrys are smashing.

I doubt the NZV8s will be around for much longer so here is the stream from the weekend where you can see the Camrys in action
 
I really hope that these can bring together top level touring car racing in NZ because I would definitely be interested in going to see a full field of these irl!
 
Oh no doubt. I feel with the way they handled the "two classes" and having the Altima and Camry, its going to be a series to watch.
