Hi ppl,

Newbie to the forum and to the sim racing world.

Tried out a nice set up by a company at a place i take my car for service work as they had an open day on Sunday.

They were asking big bucks for there set ups, so did the 2nd best option and went on ebay.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280954983277?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1167wt_1398

Found this playseat with Logitech G25 wheel, gear shift and pedals.
Bought it for use on my PS3, i am normally a Fifa guy but thought id give sim racing a go, as i am really into my real world sports cars.
Cant believe how realistic it is :)

Well the guy who i got it from didnt have a clue what this was on the underneath part, its got Earthquake written on it and looks to me like its a rumble/vibration device ???

From what i can gather the Earthquake has 2 bare wires from it, a solid red one and a red/black stripey one.

Does anyone have any idea what this is and how i get it working with my Logitech G25 and PS3 set up.

Ive got the sound running via the digital optical cable via a dolby pro logic amp, if this has anything to do with it ???

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Sorry I dont have any first hand experience with these, but I can tell you a bit about them. These are called "tactile transducers" and they are powered by an amplifier, which needs to be hooked up to the ps3 audio. These are basicaly subwoofers that shake, as you hit a bump wall or rumble strips.

If you search for "earthquake tactile transducer setup" or "buttkickers setups" (another more common brand) you'll likely find more general info on how to get yours going.

You have and Amp, awesome. That should be all you need, but you should still search for some general setup info.
