Newbie Question

Hi all,

At the risk of total embarrassment it has come time to ask the question.

I am a total newb at GT5 and can someone please tell me.

I have completed my B licence test and cannot seem to race in any b races. Every time I race its only my driver that races. He is now at level 2 if that matters.

Am I missing something? When and how can i actually enter a race as the driver?
 
Oh, now here's an explanation.

You may have completed your B License, but the licenses do not effect anything else in the game. What your speaking of is B-Spec. B-Spec is a race mode for a computer driver that you are able to manage. Take a look at this.
 
The races do not correspond to a licence test. They correspond to a A-spec or B-spec level (seen near the top center of your screen in GT Life).

The licence tests seem to be there for experience points (for A-spec), prize cars (see the sticky), and to learn.
 
so do I need to be in B Spec mode or there another option other than Arcade?
 
The licenses do not matter in which races you can complete. I think you are talking about B-Spec races. Your driver can only participate in races that are at his level or lower. EX driver is level 7 he can only do level 7 or below races. The higher level race do have restrictions to Drivetrain or NA vs Turbo. always check your driver stats, and race requirements to make sure everything is ok.
 
That's B-spec, your the Boss, not the driver..You tell the driver how to race..

A-spec, you are the driver.. Buy a car and try an A-spec race..

Is your PS3 online ??

No not online was waiting until I got used to the game and wheel setup came.

Ok sorry for being such a Newb. Obviously I didnt try the A Spec because i thought it was for A grade licence.

The licences don't matter. There is A-spec and B-spec. On B-spec youre the coach. On A-spec youre actually driving.
