I just discovered these useful forums.....and unlike most of you on here, I have not been playing long and definitely would not consider myself a good racer yet. Anyway, I'm at A-Spec Level 14 and B-Spec Level 5 with around 530,000 credits. I have a few questions that I'd appreciate help with:
1) Does anyone else on here have their screen "lock-up" on the GT5 logo when first turning the game on due to the PS3 mysteriously losing its internet connection? Yes, I've performed the 1.05 update and it only loses it on that screen. If others have experienced this, why is it doing it......and how can it be resolved? Sometimes I have to turn my system off 3-4 times to get it to "pass" this screen.
2) Speaking of updates.....what is all of the hoopla about saving data on a USB drive after the 1.05 update? When I updated, I did absolutely nothing and did not lose cars, data, etc. Should I save to a USB for some reason? Am I at risk of losing everything for some reason?
3) I know some on here have talked about how difficult the Lotus Top Gear special event is (tried it and can't even get around the track without crashing).....for example. Here's my question......maybe I'm really lame.....but I can't even pass the License A cone test (#2?) on the Top Gear track. I've watched the Youtube video of the guy effortless weaving in and out.....but everytime I try, the best I can get is bronze. Any advice for the cones?
4) I've heard people on here talking about their ZR-1 RM. I currently have a Z06 and can't find any "Race Modified" option when I go into the tuning section. Do only certain cars have "Race Modified" options? If so, apparently my Z06 is not able to be modified in this manner? Where would we see the option to do this if it is indeed possible on a certain car?
5) What's the purpose of having multiple B-Spec drivers? Are there races way down the road (such as the endurance races) that will require multiple drivers per race? Right now, it seems logical to stick with one driver and let him build his experience up.....why get others?

Only a few cars can be race modified but the Z06 is one of them.
