We're a couple of guys in our mid-sixties who share a house together in Blenheim, New Zealand, along with a similarly aged Siamese cat. Old petrol-heads! Interests apart from this include yachting, fishing, golf, speedway, wine and food. And the OTHER when we get lucky!
Current set-up: PS3 Slim, Samsung 40" LED TV, Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound System, VisionRacer VR3 (#164), Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel.
We started with a G27 just over a year ago but the third one has just been sent away for replacement because we suffer the same calibration problems as everyone else seems to. This has impacted severely on our progress through various games because we've often been without a wheel for a month or two at a time. The Driving Force has just been purchased to see us through GT5 until we get a reliable G27 back.

Before we started having problems with the G27's we both got to Level 50 and over a 1000 stars in NFS:Shift. Also had problems with the PS3 - replaced three times too. Lost all our data on NFS and had to start over again.
We joined GTPlanet because although we can drive quite well we haven't got a clue about tuning cars and don't really have the time to experiment with various settings. Already we have found invaluable information to help us. Such an on-line community is tremendous with the content of its information and its willingness to share with others.👍
