Hey guys.

Was checking out the Australia Playstation site, as I do often.

I looked this morning, and GT5 was in the "Coming Soon" section! as TBC!

It is now removed from that section, and is now sitting only in the most popular section as TBC!

http://au.playstation.com/ps3/games/coming-soon/ - NOT THERE ANY MORE!

http://au.playstation.com/ps3/games/popular/ - IT NOW LIVES HERE!

So a change is being made!

Edit: Has now also got a classification logo, as "G"

What does "G" classification mean? Is that like the US' ESRB ratings? Same thing with "PEGI", doesn't make sense to me.

Well if this just changed today then i assume it's just a case of not changing the date of release on the automatic system which updates once the games on the coming soon list are released and puts them on the popular list, as the 4th of November (today) was the previous Australian release date.

Ok, I was thinking it may have something to do with it going "Gold" ;)

But why move it from the "Coming Soon" section? It is not out yet, and is not expected to be out for a month right?

It was moved to the most popular section, which I cannot understand. It is not popular, as no one has played it yet.

Never thought of that, you could be correct!

It automatically got moved across!!!

If you go to SonyStyle.com and then games, then console for PS3, then you'll see "Coming Soon". If you click on the "coming soon" it will bring up a page that had GT5 in the first position. No big deal really. I'm glad that the Ausie site is at least active. It's showing signs of that hype train moving a bit.

So, my first post on here..

Just noticed some things:

The box art is different on the AU PS site:

Also the AU Gran Truismo site now says 'just a little longer..'

You gave me a heart attack eastley! I read the title of your thread and thought you meant that it had been removed entirely...thx mate! :p

Great to hear that there is some movement for the positive, and I've got a feeling we'll definitely get a release date this week and that it'll be for a December release.

But as said by someone else earlier, this may of been automatic as it happened on the morning of the original release date!

So, it may mean nothing.

True. But if this is the case, we should see it moved back to "Coming Soon" once someone realises it. We'll have to keep an eye on the page to see if this does indeed happen.

Lol, PEGI just has the minimum age on it. Don't understand why it wouldn't make sense.

PEGI has these ratings: 3, 7, 12, 16 and 18
ESRB has: eC (3+), E (6+), E10+ (10+), T (13+), M (17+), AO (18+)
AFC (australia): G (3+), PG (6+ I think), M (12+), MA15+ (15+) (There's no adult ratings in Australia, that's why violent games like GTA are usually banned).
UK has (had?) BBFC: U (0+), PG (8+), 12A (8+ with parents), 12, 15, 18

Just to compare. I think the PEGI ratings are clearest, certainly they also have other icons for bad language, drug use etc.

But I think GT5 will get
3+ here and the Online rating So, extremely mild :)

Just for the record, cdon.com just changed their date from November 17th to November 30th. Probably doesn't mean anything though.
