Today I got a text message on my cell phone from a company telling me that I can lose 25 pounds in 2 days and all that crap, despite the fact that I'm on the do not call list, So does an SMS message count as a violation? Or does that fall under the spam thing? Think of all the email spam you get but it comes to your phone. I feel sorry for the people who have to pay per message :eek:
 
I got one the other day as well, and next month I will have to pay for it!!! and I hope it counts as a violation!!:mad:
 
I do believe it does. You can sue those companies. Telemarketing to cellphones is highly illegal.
 
A buddy of mine got one as well. That's craptastical! it's such a violation of personal space! :grumpy:
 
A guy I work with got that exact same message yesterday. Do you have Sprint service?
