next/previous song buttons

I wish there was ability to assign next/previous song to a button, it's super easy to program and it would be very useful for some. Whether listening to default or custom soundtrack, I find myself wishing to be able to skip song sometimes.

Yeah sure I like the idea, but I don't get why you want to use a button for that rather than anything else that's more useful when driving. Maybe a long press then, then I support it.

That's why I said ability to assign, it doesn't have to be default. An option to do that in the pause menu would be also nice (for the reason you mentioned).

Need for speed 4 on PSX had plenty of button combinations (even blinkers) and they still managed to put in a shortcut for next song
