If you have the money I would suggest getting Sprint.

But my cousin has Nextel, and I don't think she's had any problems with it.
You are talking about cell phones right?

Sprint has horrible customer service and you'll be lucky if you get a rebate on anything. I know a lot of people who are happy with Verizon. I've also heard good things about Nextel but I don't know anyone who has it.

OA

I'm happy with Nextel,.. have been for 5 years. Only get it if you know a lot of other peopel that have them,.. or you'll be defeating the purpose of the 'two-way' feature.

yeah, alot of people here are starting to get it. and qjasonp yes i am talkin about cell phones. is the motorola i90 a good phone? if you have nextel, what phones do you have?

I have the i90,... it's a great basic phone,.. was $300 when I got it but is probably a reasonable price now.

Unless you plan on hookkin up the kick-butt internet plan,.. go with a more basic model like the i90.... the more expensive models will only be worth the $$$ if you get the internet package.

But yeah,.. the i90 is great,.. it's compact, durable, and has more than enough basic functions to satisfy your needs. Digital voice memo feature, 250 entry phone book, basic games, and even voice activated calling.

I'm a Nextel user and I have the Motorola i95cl. I have been extremely happy with the phone itself - no complaints whatsoever, and the Internet package (which RER mentioned earlier) is a very cool and handy service. Virtually every single one of my friends also uses Nextel, and the Direct Connect (two-way) service is one of the most handy and convenient forms of communication I have ever used.

The actual cellular service itself leaves a bit to be desired sometimes, but when you talk to other people who have used another service and then switched to Nextel, they can't do anything but talk about how much better it is. All of their Motorola phones are incredibly tough and durable...one girl friend of mine dropped her i90 in water, and then dropped it several more times until the flip lid on it was hanging on by a small wire - and it still worked just fine!

If you have the money get Spring?

It's the exact opposite. If you can afford it, you should deffinatly get Nextel. It's services are great and it's reception is even better. I posted about this somewhere else. But trust me, you can't go wrong with Nextel.

Nextel is not bad. I actually think all wireless services coud use improvement! I think the best wirelss services are probably Nextel and Sprint. I left T-Mobile because the coverage in upstate NY ofted sucked. Nextel has better coverage but you pay a little more. I joined the National Achiever 400 plan (I get 400 minutes a month plus a bonus 400 minutes every month. ) Direct connect (walkie-talkie) is free to my family and friends with Nextel. I use a little earpiece so my conversations are private with the Direct Connect. The battery charges up fast compared to Tmobile. So far, customer service has been pretty good. I usually have to wait about 5 minuites or so. Tmobile had me wait 45 minutes. I like the i830 phone for $29.99. If you are interested in Nextel, we could each earn a $25 reward Debit Visa Card. You have to give my name and direct connect number. Email at ElizabethSakura@gmail.com if interested. Thanks.

T-Mobile is one of the best if not the best network in the Uk. It offers the best coverage including some very remote areas that no other network covers, this is just the UK state of affairs however.

i always found t-mobile coverage horrible. especially in the one2one days. O2 has some great coverage and Orange NEVER failed me when i needed to call someone. always strong signal.

Vodafone is expensive (by a little though) but it has good coverage.

I always buy myphones on orange. Not because orange is a good, because it isn't, but that the phones sold on orange are sold atleast £40 cheaper than the o2 or vodaphone version. I saved £60 on my 3220 when i bought it on orange, and had it unlocked for £5. The next phone i'm buying is a sony ericsson k700i, which available on orange for £99 with a free bluetooth headset, rather than paying £130 for it on o2, and i wouldn't get the headset.

T-mobile has great coverage in islington, especial around the Almeda, a place that few networks cover. Orange has bizzare coverage, it is a network that refuses to work in Jersey (the channel island)
