NFS: Shift or Hot Pursuit

Hi all.

I'm a fond GT player but just in await of shift 2 I want to buy one of these 2 nfs games.

But which one is better and why? or is it just because HP comes after Shift that HP is better in all categories?

Which one is the most fun in progressing in career..

I like the real racing factor on tracks but then again, I always liked the police factor in nfs...

So what do you guys prefer?

Tow different games completely.

Shift is a direction towards more sim-like racing. So cars, tracks, etc.

Hot Pursuit is racing with cops chasing you with helicopters, setting up road blocks etc. You play both cop and racer.

Since Shift2 isn't out until March, no way to judge it really. HP is a lot of fun, but it's pure game - not a lot of reality going on.

So if you liked NFS Shift, go for shift 2. If you want a fun car based GAME, go for HP. Other option is to get both.
