I liked the cop chases the best for sure, miss those allot.
but its still not like Hot Pursuit 2. The intense police escapes with helicopters, the spin around camera view on each major jump. Those were the days!!
NFS games are kind of halfassed. In NFSU2 there is a parking lot with a floating light post. And each of the parking spaces can hold 4 cars.I enjoyed playing Pro Street even though there was a giant list of improvements which needed to be dealt with. But wouldnt it be nice if EA listened to their customers? Over at Nfsunlimited.net (my other forum), 90% of the people there are tired of half-arsed, incomplete NFS games. A large majority of reviews have been very negative and this is coming from a NFS fansite.
Cmon EA. The one game a year method clearly isn't working. Merge the two groups together drink lots of coffee, and don't go home until you've given as a worthy game.
Age-old flaw of the series, as well as many other racing games. It would seem they either design a landscape and then upsize it until the roads are wide enough for novice gamers to navigate, or just can't figure out how to scale things properly. I don't know which would be more stupid. And each of the parking spaces can hold 4 cars.
Tomb Raider 2 on the PS is a classic example. In the game, her kitchen sink was the size of a bath tub (you could walk around in it)... and the tap was bigger then Lara herself.Age-old flaw of the series, as well as many other racing games. Apparently, there are 2 NFS development teams, one for Undercover and one for the next one after that, and there is another game which is set for 2009. This can only go well...
Eh,I think they stopped making good Need For Speed after NFS:HP2.Dont like the ricer crap they put in games today
If by "get a clue" you mean "waste money improving games that sell anyway," I don't think they can hear you over the rustling of their giant bags of money.Hay, EA... get a clue, just... STOP.![]()
I liked the ricer crap more than ProStreet, that's how bad it is. I personally don't think NFS:U was that bad as a game. Yes it is ricer but meh because atleast the physics were kept arcadey. ProStreet is a wannabe sim, I like my NFS arcadey thanks.
Will not happen![]()
Were there are the Need For Speed games with exotic and sports cars (no ricing) on intense police pursuits, on long & winding roads in fantastic landscapes?
THAT were the real Need For Speed.
As Dave A said that means winding country roads in Europe, climbs up montain sides in the Himilayas, high speed blasts through the australian outback, and winding roads along the shore of California.
Seriously, Need For Speed Undercover? I can imagine how unoriginal and lame the storyline will be right now. You're a tough cop going under cover in the illegal world of street racing and you have to race and beat the best to expose them...
