The view at the top is lovely. Even though they are far south, the Florida Panthers are atop the NHL mountain for the first time in franchise history. From a 3-0 lead to an almost reverse sweep by Edmonton Oilers, the Stanley Cup returns to the state of Florida; but instead of the Tampa Bay Lightning having it, it's in Sunrise, FL, USA with the Florida Panthers. Who will win Lord Stanley's Cup this season?

The NHL Draft wrapped up recently. Everything from now to the final Stanley Cup game to even the NHL Awards are fair game for discussion here. The puck has been dropped. So let's talk NHL Hockey!

Hockey is back. The Panthers are intact, and life is good. How will your teams fare this year?
 
The Wings were ass last night against the Habs, but those sweaters and the fact that "Hockeytown" is back at center ice makes me hopeful for the season.
 
For the first time since 2019, both Florida teams are out of contention for the Stanley Cup finals. Nature is healing.
 
I’ve been riding the buzz from that Cup win by grabbing some Panthers-themed Collectible Cards, which made the whole run feel even sweeter to look back on. It’s been fun pulling cards during live breaks and getting a couple framed afterward, so if you’re into keeping moments like this alive in a tangible way, that route adds a cool layer to the celebration.

Congrats to the 2026 Stanley Cup Champions the Carolina Hurricanes! The Canes won the Cup with strong play from their 4th line with 4th line center Jordan Staal scoring a goal in all but one game. I think the move that won them the chip though was the switch from Freddie Anderson to Brandon Bussey in game 4 was brilliant. He was good in game 5 and brilliant in the game 6 closeout game getting a shutout. As an observer of the Hurricanes I felt they would always come up short because of goaltending and not enough scoring. They fixed those issues and were able to win the Stanley Cup.
