NHRA 1/4 Mile Drag Championships!

WELCOME to the National Hot Rod Association Quarter Mile Drag Race Championships!

There will be different classes:
AWD under 560HP
AWD under 900HP
RWD under 450HP
RWD under 700HP
RWD under 1050HP

Races will be ran under the influence of a "tree" consisting of a -PREMIUM- car, following this procedure
1. cars line up
2. lights on car (tree) turn on
3. lights turn off
4. car goes invisible
5. Cars take off

there will also be possible grudge match type races, were we pit class vs. class, or a budget Strip car, e.g. if you are giving 30k, too see who makes the fastest 1/4mile car for that money, which is fun!!

If people dont want to be in a commited "GT5 League" you can come and go as you choose if an event strikes your fancy

What are you using to measure out a quarter mile?

If you Travel @60mph, for 15 seconds it should be a 1/4 of a mile.
If you travel @60mph, for a minute, it will be a mile, you see what i mean?
Indy Road Coarse is a pretty good drag strip, but technically is about 2 car lengths short of a 1/4mile, so it is a pretty good place for it

Long story Short: Car A vs Car B line up infrony of Car C (the tree) car flashes lights, and then goes invisible, = race commencement
