I think he means that when you sign into an NHS hospital (as opposed to a private hospital) you can have a Sony Playstation (2) in your room if requested.
Not every post that mentions PS2 needs to be in the PS2 forum, poop face. What about all the opinions in this forum, do they all have to be moved to the opinions forum?
Sorry about the confusion I just came back from hospital yesterday.
NHS = National Health Service = Free British health service everyone is entitled to.
Most people from the UK would know the NHS is short on cash and I was just surprised that I got a playstation because I was bored. (It was a playstation 1) some people got TVs but there was no arial plug near me.
my experience with the NHS is different that Supras...
sure you may be able to get a PS or XBOX in the hospital but its not available to all patients in every room or ward...
usually there is a communal area where people can go to an socialise with other patients...and you might get a console in there and a TV and if your a kid youre NOT allowed to bring your own in due to health and safety reasons since the device will have to be PAT tested...
you can request them and every patient is entitled however i doubt is there is more that one or two in each ward....so if someone else is using it...your scuppered...
it would ba a bit wierd being in a hospital and playing Silent Hill..
Well when i went to hospital for my last heart op I had a ps2 in my room and dad bought in a few games to play. they also had nintendo 64s with tv and VCR built into a little entertainment centre on wheels.
