Night Photos almost like Day

Took some night photos at Toscana during the Lambo Seasonal. When I'd aim the Camera the night shoot became significantly lighter almost like it was daylight again. My settings were 8000:22:0.0. Had to move the EV down to -5 to get darkness in the picture on some shots.

Similar experiences? What's the problem here?
