Hey, just wanted to know how your nighttime lap times compare to daytime laps.
Just raced the Nordschleife 24H version with the 350Z LM car and got a 8:27 day and 8:35 at night. (No AIDS, hard RT, steering wheel, manual transmission and clutch)
I think the time difference comes from missing the perfect apex at the very fast sections of the ring, the cars just too fast and there is too little of the track visible at times which makes me miss the apex several times. (especially Pflanzgarten & Kesselchen)
Pretty hard, cant wait for the 24 hour race!
Oh, and does anybody know real lap times day vs night? Would be interesting to know how much the drivers slow down at night. I do know that the Peugeot 908 did faster laps at night (cold air is denser and improves turbo and thus engine performance and downforce) than at day.
