Using a DF
cant keep the steering wheel from sawing back and forth at high speed.
Stock settings are no good. Front end starts shaking at about 150 mph.
only thing that seemed to help is

spring rat 4.0 f/r
ride height 60mm f/r
bound 1 f/r
rebound 2 f/r
camber 2.0 f 1.0 r
stabilizer 7 f/r
downforce 55 f 80 r

Front downforce is too low to corner well

Just need help keeping it straight

(please no use your ds analog sticks are not the same)

changed the setting on the stabilizer to 1

that seemed to help the sawing wheel now it just bounces like a &itch. lol
guess I'll keep jackin with the settings unless someone comes up with a better idea....

Tried it makes it push through the corners. From what I've read today seems to be a problem with the Driving Force wheel or that car just cant be driven that fast with that wheel.

My r34 is just fine at high speed (200mph)
I will test some other race cars to see what happens

Sorry for the NASCAR term

Under an engine load ie accel. the car pushes to the wall (no grip to stay in the groove)

I did change the toe again but to no avail I think the problem lies with that DF
so I may have to get a DFP man my wife is gonna kill me LOL

This isn't one of the Black Beauties by any chance is it?

My Black 787B did the weaving at high speed thing really bad until I did a chassis refresh. If chassis refresh (not checked in the tune shop screen) is available it means the body is tweaked and needs refresh. As for the bouncing you might try a lowering the bound setting on your shocks.

Thats interesting. Softening your suspension will probably keep this from happening.. But softening it too much will cause slower lap times.

Pretty much tried the shock settings as low as they go. I still think its a problem with the DF.

I will check the body re-fresh but it was the 88cv that I won so I don't think thats it.

Went to arcade mode and drove a couple of other cars didn't have the same problems with the stock settings so I'm sure its the car. I figure it just can't handle well with all the speed. Reality is, just cause it goes that fast does not mean you should....lol

Is that what's wrong with the "Black Beauties"? I bought the R390 and the uh...
other Nissan black LMP...can't remember the letters and numbers off hand.

Anyway I tried them out on the Test course and anything over 200 MPH and they're straight into the wall...either one is fine. They're way to touchy at high speed.

I'll try the chassis refresh and see if that helps.
