Nissan has recently announced a new LMP-1 race car will be built for the 2015 WEC season. Extremely few details have been released, but we do know that it will be called the GT-R. A photo of a covered car has also been released. It is doubtful the car will actually run on the GT-R platform, as a fully-fledged prototype would be better to compete against other LMP1s.
