Nissan GT-R LM/Zytek - LMPs or not?

I set up a time trial with LMPs at Le Mans in my GT6 club, but a friend pointed out to me that the Nissan GT-R LM & Nissan Zytek are not considered LMPs in GT6 and therefore they cannot be used in my club event.
Has PD ever explained why those 2 cars aren't considered LMPs in-game even though they race in the LMP class in real life? Is PD planning on fixing that?

Might be because they're only prize cars at the moment and have no classification from the dealership. Or an oversight.

Maybe they'll be classed when they're available in the UD.

They're probably just not included in the "Prototypes" filter of online races.
